Every since I learn how to do reupholstery, I am in love chairs, old and new. Unfortunately I only learnt to do simply chair upholstery since my teacher moved away. I found this lovely canape and chaise on ebay france and wondering should I keep the fabric or change it if these were mine.
It's lovely as is and very cheerful..
What do you think?
Would you change it or keep the fabric??
Have a wonderful day wherever you are.

Great shape to the chairs however not my kind of fabric. If they were mine I would have something much simpler and classic so as not to overwhelm the 'shape' of the chairs. But I could see how they would fit into an eclectic/modern style of home as pops of colour - just not all together at once!
Love the canape but think that all the pieces together would be a bit much but then as you know I am a lover of neutral colours :-)
A tres bientot mon ami,

Hi Julie,
I would probably keep only the canape in that fabric and change the fabric of the chaises. It's a pretty fabric I have to say...

Although the stripes line up perfectly...I'd change it! Such pretty shapes, perhaps a throw pillow with the stripes?
Hi Julie, thanks for coming over to visit my blog and my ebay auctions too :0)) Sorry you missed out on the Shabby Vintage junk Extravaganza but I think another will be organised before too long.
I do love these chairs with the stripes but in my home would probably go a bit more neutral. I normally dress things up with soft furnishings instead.

love the colours, would have to suit a very specific kind of home!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.. If you're in Melbourne, you can buy our eggs at the Queen Victoria Markets. We're Ruby Hills Organic eggs.
I'm from California too!
I am on the lookout for the top of a kitchen hutch (shelving, etc.) to mount in my new kitchen at the farmhouse - preferably with a plate rack of some kind - keep out a keen eye for me!
