Another French Chair Make over

Finally.
Finished another set of Old French Dining chair makeover.

My french corner.

I got this beautiful antique French Gilt Louis XV Settee from an antique dealer friend.
Its not easy to find Original french furnitures in Downuder. I was over the moon when I got this settee.

I am still re-arranging my living room
When will this end? I am not sure.. (smile)

What was I thinking.....

We are more close to winter in Downunder. I wish to live in warm weather all year around. I have a great idea. That is I will need to buy a house in northern hemispher. That way I can chase the warm weather all year around. Where should I go? American, England or France.. that is the question..

As the weather gets colder, I desire warm interior decor. So I decided to change my living room to more warm atmospher. I started to demolish my current living room yesterday..

so here I go again...

I don't know how long it will take me to clean up and come up with a warm, cozy ideas but its too late now.

Lazy Sunday

We had a decent weather here in Downunder.
I did landry a load after load, while washing machine is working hard. I did play with my camera, I have my semi-professional camera for last 2 years but hardly used since its heavy. I love my small digital camera in my bag. I played with my big camera today.

Dalkeith House in Australia

Dalkeith House in Mt. Martha is belong to my sister in law. It's a lovely tudor style manor sits on 10 acre park like land. We use this lovely house as a holiday home currently. If you want to get away from the city. You can now rent a  house for whatever you need. Please directly contact me for details.

French Chair Upholstery

I had a few upholstery class at my studio.

Today, one of my student finished her chair.
It came out very nice, even my hubby approved

Here is the before and After photo.

She used French Toile Fabric as an accent piece at the front of the chair.

back of the chair and the seat cushion was plain linen style fabric.

Table Setting with Royal Albert China.

I've been collecting old, vintage, antique china over many many years. I used to have so many china cabinets but I had to get rid of them since they look so messy in the house., but I miss looking at my chinas so had to unpack one of the box.

Hello March~~ and French chair

March..
It's getting cold in down under when most of my friends in nothern hemisphere are getting ready for " Spring"
I hope to have a mild fall. We will see.
I am busy giving lesson to freinds upholstery class these days.
I had a first class yesterday followed by lovely brunch.
