What's in the drawers..

It rained a bit this afternoon after I watered the plants..great!!!, a friend of mine came to visit me with a wonderful gift. I will take a picture tomorrow and show off.. It was a very special gift for my little princess..

As I have ichyhandlitis(smile) and full of ideas as far as what I want to make.. but still organizing and rearranging my sewing room..(grrrrrrr..) now you know why it takes so long for me to do anything with a sewing machine..

I have a few sewing machines and serger machines just because I hate to change the colors of thread.. I use my dresser(there is a reason for this) as the sewing table but pretty small surface as you can see. so I had an idea for temporary solution.. Until my talented DH make me a new big sewing table.

I added a board on top of the dresser.. voila~~

Why I used the dresser as a sewing table.. Here is the reason..
I could hide all kinds of things in the drawers ...
This is what's in my drawers...
1 . Threads..

2. bias tapes. colorful elastics.. etc..

3. Zippers, rig-rags, bias.. laces.. etc..

4. Vintage buttons, vintage laces..

5.Drawer full of vintage laces collection..

6. Vintage and New Ribborns..
Now you know why I use the dresser as my sewing table.. to hide things..(smile) and easy finding things.. Now I can start making a few things.. I decide to giveaway what I am going to make.. so stay tune!!!!! There will be a giveaway sometime next week ,, hopefully..
Be well & Be Happy..

Oh how I loved all the goodies tucked away in your sewing drawers. You're one lucky woman! I'd especially love to rummage through the vintage ribbons and buttons drawers. Thank you for sharing your sewing space & stash. Lee :)

What I great idea to use a lovely set of drawers for storage. Unfortunately my storage is currently cardboard boxes - one day I'll get more organised!
